Owners Corporation Rules

Under the Owners Corporation Act 2006 (Vic):

An occupier of a lot—
(a) must comply with this Act and the
regulations under this Act and the rules of
the owners corporation; and
(b) must not use or neglect the common property
or permit it to be used or neglected in a
manner that is likely to cause damage or
deterioration to the common property.

Rules are enforceable against owners and occupiers, including short-stay occupiers, with civil penalties of up to $1100 per breach (as determined by VCAT).
